Youngcare Re-vamp


QMG teamed up with Youngcare to re-design their website. Development and implementation was completed by Blackbaud.


More than 6,500 young Australians needing 24/7 care live in aged care facilities and another 700,000 live at home with family and friends as carers.  Youngcare's charter is to increase awareness of the issue and provide alternatives for young Australians with 24/7 care needs.

The website needed to educate visitors and encourage visitors to engage by donating their time, money or resources to help the Youngcare cause.  It needed to have a strong fundraising and communication focus - facebook, blogs and articles.

QMG achieved this by including opportunities for engagement and sign-up - donation, newsletter and facebook buttons.

As well as re-designing the Youngcare website, QMG crafted an email campaign for Youngcare that highlighted a music trivia initiative and drove home the importance of the 24/7 care issue. The email included links that made the campaign measurable and increased subscriptions.

Our partnership continues: QMG teamed up with Junior to develop the thongday.com.au website.  QMG designed and developed a minisite for Youngcare's Gold Coast apartments and their music trivia game.  QMG sends out a monthly email campaign for Youngcare using QMGmail.
