The doctorflynn.com website consists of 3 sub-sites, focusing on similar content but targeted to different audiences.

It was designed to provide the DoctorFlynn business with a professional web presence where internet sales, information and media can be delivered.

The site contains an email marketing tool that formats information recorded as users register or purchase items on the website. This information allows the administrator to log in and create a targeted marketing campaign. It also allows the administrator to create an email containing image and text, usually to promote VIP specials, promotions or upcoming events. This can then be emailed to specific demographics filtered by age, gender, interests and/or location.

The DoctorFlynn business provides useful products and solutions to local clientele. Business potential was limited by its geographical location. By bringing the business online, the vast interstate and international market for sleep disorders can be reached.

The aim of the website was to provide potential clients with a website detailing information on mental skills, sleep solutions and offer an interactive site for the younger market.

Timeline

The entire project from planning to development took approximately 1 month. There was no set deadline.

Target Audience

DoctorFlynn targets a diverse audience across a variety of demographics, from children through to the elderly. This was taken into consideration while designing navigation and site layout.

Users are presented with multiple options throughout the shopping cart system, from online credit card transactions and cheque purchases to posting or downloading products. These options cater for the diverse demographic this website attracts.

The site is divided into 3 sub-sites:

1. Doctor Flynn - An information resource for mental skills for peak performance under pressure including a shopping cart where products can be ordered.

2. The Snooze Doctor - Targeted towards the every day person with sleeping problems, showcasing products and directing users to the shopping cart.

3. SleepFun - Targeted towards children with sleeping problems.

The first challenge was to partition the site into 3 sub sections - Doctorflynn, TheSnoozeDoctor and SleepFun. These are accessed from the main page where a brief summary of each site is provided. The 3 sites function in a similar fashion and all utilise the same aesthetical layout to minimise navigation confusion.

Contact time with the DoctorFlynn team was required to ensure the system was built strictly to their requirements. QMG was in contact via the phone, email and in person at the request of the DoctorFlynn team.
