Project Details
Client Problem Description
Centred Art required an online art gallery website which would provide the same user experience for Dutch speakers as it did for English speakers. The site needed to switch seemlessly between languages as well as collate the Art into different categories.
Timeline
A bi-lingual Content Management System (CMS), art gallery and dynamic image viewer were developed over a 3 week period. During this time, the QMG development team developed the required applications, allowed time for testing and delivered on time.
Delivery Method
The Centred Art CMS runs on an Apache Server with a PHP and MySQL backend.
Target Audience
Centred Art's target audience is specifically English and Dutch collectors of Australian Aboriginal art.
Implemented Solution/Service
QMG was required to provide a simple user interface to a complex data referencing system. Each image is cross referenced with the rest of the images in the database to provide the website user with the most relevant images. This system although complex in design is simple to use, navigate and administer.
