The 11 Second Club

If you’re looking for a place to view some smashing animation, or happen to be an animator looking to participate in friendly competition, the 11 Second Club is for you.

Sponsored by Animation Mentor, it is a gathering ground for talented animators to interact, discuss and submit their work and be judged by their peers and industry professionals.

Each month, the site uploads a short 11 second audio clip from a film or animation, and encourages participants to animate in the style of their choosing to this audio clip, including hand-drawn 2D animation or 3D animation.

Each submission is rated by participants and members, and by the end of the month, the votes are tallied and a winner is selected! The winner gets to have their animated segment eCritiqued by a professional Animation Mentor, providing their insight to help improve the winning participant’s skills.
