Surprise! New Internet Explorer Exploit!

This is a big one. Last month, Google and 30 other companies were attacked using an IE exploit suspected to have originated from China!

Reports are saying that systems on IE6 are the most vulnerable, but all versions of IE, except for the really old ones (5) are still at risk.

Microsoft are currently working on a fix now and still (grr Microsoft) have not said when they will release it, but reports are saying Feb 6 when it releases its next set of security patches.

We at QMG are not surprised by this. We think IE6 is the worst browser ever released, and since we have always supported it nonetheless, we are smirking at this latest exploit. Hopefully this means that more people will ditch Internet Explorer once and for all and install either FireFox or Chrome so web designers and developers around the world won't have to touch it again!

Make sure you upgrade!
